High-Speed Reconfigurable SIGINT System

HiReS is an intelligent and modular SIGINT system that can detect, isolate, and classify all RF signals for emerging electronics warfare applications. Capable of processing instantaneous bandwidth of up to multiple gigahertz, HiReS enables warfighters to track traditionally hard-to-find RF signals. As a result, HiReS allows warfighters to achieve and maintain a significantly higher level of RF situational awareness thanks to its constant-stare and extremely wideband signal processing, and Tactical AI-based signal classification and tracking.

HiReS enables warfighters to maintain significantly improved RF situational awareness.

Communication, radar, and other EW signals have evolved dramatically and exhibit a wide variety of complex behaviors and patterns. Legacy SIGINT solutions are often scanningbased and lack the ability to detect lowpower, wideband, frequency-hopping, and extremely short signals. Most systems are also built on proprietary hardware and software technologies, making it extremely difficult and costly to achieve timely upgrades. HiReS overcomes these drawbacks by offering a novel capability to detect, isolate, and classify evasive signals over wideband instantaneous bandwidths without a priori knowledge such as center frequency, signal bandwidth, signal duration, and modulation features. Cost effective, HiReS is developed under the initiative of OpenVPX-based Multi-Function RF systems architecture where electronic attack, communication, and SIGINT functions can be instantiated using common, interchangeable COTS hardware platforms.
