Aaron “Vandal” Gibney

Aaron Gibney joins the company to help grow EpiSci’s opportunities in the BMC2 sector. BMC2 integrates software and hardware systems and delivers human-trusted solutions for improved and faster decision-making capabilities. Retired Colonel Gibney served 24 years in the US Air Force (USAF) and contributes extensive experience in the Air and Space fields as well as operational-level joint planning.

Mr. Gibney is a graduate of the USAF Weapons School, the School of Advanced Air and Space Studies, and the Chief of Staff of the USAF’s Blue Horizons Fellowship. As a career air battle manager has commanded at the squadron and group level, has more than 1,800 hours on AWACS and JSTARS aircraft, and flew hundreds of combat hours over Afghanistan and Iraq. As a Colonel, Aaron led headquarters USAF’s Futures and Concepts Division, known as AF Skunk Works, at the Pentagon; then commanded the 505th Combat Training Group at Nellis Air Force Base, NV.
