MD5 Starts NYC Recap

Last Thursday, April 24, EpiSci was honored to be one of six finalists selected out of 100+ startups to present our innovative Tactical AI capabilities at Starts NYC this year.

The Starts NYC event was hosted by the National Security Innovation Network (MD5 recently renamed to NSIN), along with the Joint Artificial Intelligence Center (JAIC). The goal of the event was to get the most innovative projects working at the intersection of national security and scalable commercial opportunities in front of senior leaders who can support them. We were humbled to meet Lt. Gen Shanahan Director of the JAIC. Around 100 high-impact investors, defense industry representatives, and government leaders attended the event.

EpiSci’s Director of Operations and Strategy, Epiphany Ryu, focused her presentation on EpiSci’s dual-use product, SwarmSense, an autonomous point-and-click swarm control system for multi-drone operations.

Thank you NSIN and JAIC for the invitation and the opportunity to engage in this community of DoD leaders and decision makers.
